Call for Council nominations now open
The Annual General Meeting of the Australasian College of Legal Medicine will be held on Wednesday 28 October 2026.
At that time, as per the College's Articles of Association, half of the current Council body will stand down from their two-year term and their (6) seats will be eligible for election.
Have you considered nominating for Council? We encourage you to read the following information.
Nominations are due by Sunday 27 September 2026.
Eligibility for nomination
Fellows including Honorary Life Fellows, Members, Associates, and Affiliate members are eligible to be nominated for a position on Council. Honorary, Retired and Student members cannot vote or hold office. (Note - there is a maximum of 1 Affiliate member allowed on Council and this position is currently filled until 2027.)
How to nominate
To nominate for a Council position, contact us for the nomination form and other information. Then, ask another ACLM member to propose your nomination, and then ask a second member to 'second' your nomination. Return the completed form to ACLM via email no later than Sunday 27 September 2026. Note that no member may propose more than 1 person as a candidate, but may second more than 1 nomination.
