New members can submit an application online. Only current Associate members can apply to upgrade to Fellowship/Membership level.

• A Fellow is entitled to claim his or her membership of the College as having specialist knowledge and experience and is entitled to use the post-nominal 'FACLM'. While a Member is not entitled to claim his or her membership as denoting a specialist knowledge and experience, the post-nominal 'MACLM' may be used after his or her name to signify membership of the College.

• Ability to contribute your expertise through peer review, writing articles, webinars or sharing research
• Regular opportunities to collaborate with other organisations in legal medicine
