Job Opportunity: Defence seeks medicolegal expertise

The Department of Defence is recruiting Medical Officer Level 4 (MO4) doctors across Joint Health Command and Defence Force Recruiting. The vacancy may interest doctors with medicolegal training or experience.

These senior roles focus on health governance, medical standards, occupational health assessment and policy. Medicolegal expertise is highly regarded, and the roles offer a variety of opportunities to apply this skillset.

The advertised salary is $195,569-$213,084 with a Building Defence Capability Payment of up to 40% and superannuation of up to 15.4%. Positions are available Australia-wide, with hybrid and part-time arrangements. Applicants need unrestricted AHPRA registration and Australian citizenship, and must be able to get a security clearance.
